BUCHAREST (Romania), June 15 (SeeNews) - Global rating agency Moody's said on Tuesday it has taken rating actions on the debt and deposit ratings of nine Greek banks reflecting the agency's downgrade of the Greek government's sovereign debt rating to Ba1 from A3, with a stable outlook, on Monday. Some of the banks affected by the rating action - National Bank of Greece, EFG Eurobank Ergasias, Alpha Bank, Piraeus Bank, Emporiki Bank of Greece, Agricultural Bank of Greece, General Bank of Greece, Marfin Egnatia Bank and Attica Bank, have operations in countries of southeast Europe.
